Webster County VA Logo Webster County Veteran Affairs offers assistance for a wide range of benefits to our veterans, service members and their families. This includes Federal and State benefits as well as temporary county benefits to qualifying indigent veterans and their families. County benefits include rent, utilities, transportation for medical care, medications and burial expenses.

 


County Commissioner of Veterans Affairs

The Webster County Veterans Affairs office is currently seeking two Honorably Discharged Veterans to fill two newly created Commissioners positions within the Veterans Affairs office.

Qualifications:  This position requires being a local advocate for Veterans of Webster County. This may consist of various forms and ways to include being a member of local Veterans service clubs, attending yearly patriotic functions, outreach events and others as they develop. A one-day yearly school attendance and meeting monthly with the Webster County Veterans Affairs Director is a requirement for this position.

Salary for this position is $25 per month plus mileage.
