Webster County Environmental Health

Effective July 1, 2022, the Webster County Planning and Zoning Department assumed the Environmental Health responsibilities. Those responsibilities include well testing both domestic and agricultural wells, permitting private sewage disposal systems, and inspecting public pools and tattoo parlors.

Webster County Iowa State Extension along with Webster County Environmental Health will be hosting the 2nd Annual Well Stewardship Program.

Catherine DeLong, Iowa State Extension Water Quality Program Manager, and Allison Roderick, Webster County Environmental Health Officer will discuss the importance of knowing the health of your well water and inform attendees of potential contaminants that could put yourself, your family, and our environment at risk.
