Webster County Vote

The Webster County Board of Supervisors and the Sheriff's Office have been working diligently to determine the best, most fiscally sound, option for addressing concerns with the current jail. We are excited to share the proposed solution as it will provide a safer environment for the public, staff, and inmates. Great measures have been taken to ensure the new facility will feature a conservative design and the new construction is done right, while keeping future growth and needs in mind.

Webster County is pursuing a referendum for the design and construction of a new Jail and Sheriff's Office. Webster County Vote is a communications plan designed to educate and inform residents on the proposed project and why it's needed, share information on the upcoming referendum, and encourage voting on November 7, 2023. ​
